At USO New Mexico, our commitment to supporting our brave service members shines through our Outreach Program. As they participate in critical training events in austere environments, we provide essential resources that enhance their experiences and uplift their spirits. From care packages filled with comforting snacks and personal items to community events that reconnect them with the warmth of home, we ensure no service member feels alone during their time away from loved ones.

During a recent training exercise conducted on July 22, 2025, at White Sands Missile Range training area, SPC Nogueda Alicia, one of the many service members benefiting from our initiatives, expressed her gratitude, stating, “I wouldn’t have ever imagined the USO would do something like this or go out of it’s way to come all the way out here.” Her words capture the essence of our mission—showing our service members that they are valued and appreciated by providing them with hotdogs fresh off the grill, snacks, refreshments, toiletries, and entertainment. This sentiment drives our team to extend our efforts and meet the unique needs that arise during their training.

Through these outreach initiatives, we illustrate the importance of community and connection for those serving in demanding environments. By ensuring our troops have access to necessary resources and reminders of home, the USO New Mexico Outreach Program plays a crucial role in maintaining their morale and well-being. We are dedicated to supporting our service members every step of the way.
